Next Meeting
Our next DCPN Support Group meeting will be on Sat. April 3, 2-4 pm. Our guest speaker will be Stanley Kim. He is CEO of WinSanTor, a private Canadian-American drug research company. Kim is doing research currently on Stage II clinical studies on new drugs to regenerate some nerve cells of people with PN from type two diabetes and chemotherapy. Their earlier animal studies were successful, and they hope to move into stage III clinical testing of humans by the end of this year. They are trying to get fast-track FDA approval for distribution and use in 2022. A Zoom invite will be sent out on the Monday prior to the meeting (March 29).
