Executive Team Meeting
5pm to 6pm, June 30, 2022

Present: Pat Gualtieri, Judson Vaughn, Bill Porter, Joanne Jessen, Michael Foxworth
Absent: David Bush, Rebecca Hotop

Pat Gualtieri convened the weekly meeting of the Core Team at 5 pm. Pat had
previously emailed the agenda to the entire team:
• Executive Director’s Announcements (Pat – 5:00-5:05)
• Continued Discussion of Committee Preferences; Slate of Officers, Board of
Directors for Annual Meeting (All – 5:05-5:25)
• Draft of Proposed Logo (Jud – 5:25-5:40)
• Report on PNSN YouTube Channel Included in BETA Test (Jud – 5:40-5:50)
• August Meeting? Open Discussion? (All – 5:50–6:00)

Announcements:
• Pat announced that the September 10 meeting will be a taped presentation by Joe
Ponzi (Pittsburgh) followed perhaps by an in-person q and a with him.

• Greg Maasson will be crossing finish line about August 2 and coming home soon after.
The FPN is scheduling a matching gift campaign for July to increase the amount for
research. We are hoping to do something with him in October. Pat is contacting him
about his schedule. Meanwhile, Kristen Townsend is scheduled to present on October

1. Jud may have a lead on a nutritionist through Fairfax Hospital (?).
Presentation of proposed logo tabled for another meeting.
August meeting will be an open discussion and also a chance to possibly recruit some
volunteers.

The rest of the meeting focused on the organization of our team and the committee
structure. No definite decisions were made and this discussion will continue. An annual
meeting will be scheduled in September so decisions need to be made and go into
effect prior to that meeting.
