What did you takeaway/learn from today’s meeting?

It takes effort to reduce symptoms of PN.

Ideas about exercise

Discussion of B vitamins is of interest.  Also, I hadn’t thought of genetic testing.  I have children and grandchildren who might like to know if their mother or grandmother may have passed along PN

Like minded people who are connected through a terrible disease that no one ever wanted

two pages of notes with so much information, websites, other groups. I found everyones experiences with this disorder interesting and informative. Just hearing from others is great.

Learn Slack, 

Sophistication of process probably more than our group would want to pursue.

Don’t be afraid to travel.  Be open about what yoe needs are.  Options and help are available.

I liked Craig’s positive attitude about life but I’m afraid most if not all my traveling is in my past.  I’ve visited every state except AK & HI, and most of the Canadian Provinces.

Nutritional suggestions for coping with neuropathy.  For instance, I have been taking magnesium on the presumption that it’s good for the nerves.
