Chuck Barnhart’s experience with accupuncture

Chuck Barnhart, PNSN speaker and member from Reading, PA, has recently tried acupuncture to good results. Here is his report.

“I wanted to let you know for any benefit it may have for you that I underwent two recent acupuncture treatments for my PN. I had been contemplating it for a long time.

“The first was more than two weeks ago and the second was this past Thursday. I noted an immediate reduction and near elimination of the nerve pain in my toes and near total elimination of my leg and foot muscle cramping.

“I also started using an infrared heating pad (therasage) after being on my feet a long time such as during snow plowing or working at our weekly church dinners and before retiring for the night. And that helped too. ( I now wear a heated jacket and socks when I’m out in cold weather. I’m toasty warm the entire time.  I can share details of the jacket and socks if you’d like me to do that in a Zoom meeting).

“I should also tell you everything I’ve used up to this point to help with cramps has proven ineffective within three months. So we’ll see how this works out.”
