What is the purpose of this device?
The Elegato Streamdeck is something like a television switcher that allows push button access to various controls and actions that are going on during the meetings (i.e., share screen, audio and video control, spotlighting the speaker, open and close apps in a hurry, showing preprogrammed slides and video, picture-in-picture, lower third graphics, calendar, etc.Most of these things can be done manually on a personal computer as we do now, but the process is clumsy. The Streamdeck enables instant access through the quick tap of a key by holdings all these functions in memory and delivering access to them.
Instead of manually finding and pressing Hot Keys for controls, these functions are preset and at the ready. Meetings would go more smoothly and errors would be reduced.
What would happen if we didn’t purchase this device?
Our meetings would continue but we are reaching a stage where we need to automate some functions just to make things run more smoothly.What is the cost of this device?
